Nutritionists in the US have developed a fizzy milk drink for children.

They wanted to give milk a make-over to help it compete with less
healthy soft drinks.

It is called e-Moo and doesn't have any additives or sugar.

The carbonated milk was invented at Cornell University, New York, in the
hope that it could help revive sales in the dairy industry.

Joseph Hotchkiss, professor of food science, said: "The carbonation does
the same thing in soft drinks as it does in e-Moo. It provides a
carbonated sensation.

"Also, it extends the shelf-life of what you would expect from milk.
With refrigeration, we believe that e-Moo can last six weeks."
