"for this particular case i am doubtful than silage given all along the animal life is that much an improvement on grains finished after an existence of free range"

Jean-Claude: Just curious. Have you compared the fatty acid profiles, etc. from this source to free range, grain finished beef? I'd be very surprised to find that the silage-fed animals, although perhaps slightly less than perfect, aren't better than the grain finished ones.

Thanks.

Jim
