Presumably this book represents an attempt by transnational
agribusiness to label any consumer resistance to their marketing
strategies as a mental illness.

There are, and always have been, a few people with weird fixed ideas
about what they ought to eat. But the only reason an obsession with
health foods should be singled out as a disease, but not an obsession
with getting a pint of cow gland exudate down your throat every day,
is political.
