It really seems like a texture thing.  I can take the
same food and puree it for him and he'll eat it fine. 
I've been researching this and I know I'm not the only
one, seems to be a common problem.  

I started not to worry, then I read a comment on a
board about a doctor who said they saw a nine year old
child still eating pureed foods?  Sounded like bull to
me, but you know as a parent I'm already paranoid.
