Yeah; just don't. Seriously, as you eat more and higher fat protein
sources, you will feel satisfied in a different way, and won't crave the
stuffed feeling you get from starches. For roughage, eat lots of greens and
salads. To get a minor starch fix, eat sweet potatoes in small quantities.

Relatively cheap protein sources are chicken, turkey, eggs, canned tuna or
mackerel. Buy the more inexpensive cuts of beef and learn to slice them
thinly across the grain for tenderness. Make soups with the bones you save.
Look for poultry processors who can sell you cases; it'll be much cheaper.
