Ray's post was great, very informative! I am sure that his son Gray-Hawk is
extraordinary! Wow--a child who has only eaten real food! What a concept!
It's also great to hear that Ray and his wife (don't know her name) have had
their wishes respected with regard to what their son eats when he is in the
care of others. Many parents I know have great difficulty getting such
compliance. Perhaps they are not firm or insistent enough or they are just
dealing with more closed minded people. (Some have in-laws or parents who
think that they are depriving their kids....if they don't give them/allow
them to have brownies, chips, soda pop, Christmas candy or Easter candy....
Amazing! We know that the deprivation comes from being denied the
nourishing foods they need to grow and develop!)

It is also great to hear that "all of the toddlers in his day care who tried
pemmican loved it!" That shows that kids have a natural taste for real food
if only they are given it! I've never made pemmican but plan to now
(soon!). I'll also tell my friends who have kids about it so that they may
be inspired to make it and send it with their kids!

Thanks for sharing, Ray! :-)
