You can go to the archives

to see my compilation of Phillip's items.

That web food analyzer works on the UDSA Database.
The chicken.breast has 32g fat there and is IMO paleo-ok.
The sum was 220 g fat, 80g saturated.

Philipp just noted "(= 1.5 rib-eye 1.5 pork-loin 1.5 chicken breast)".
Not mentioned if he uses some "Laura" or extra lean portions.
As far as i know, rib-eye as well as pork loin are more the fatty pieces.
But to be fair, i used for one of the varieties the leaner version.

Look above how it accumulates. Just try your own USDA query.
It's easy and you may, like me, invest the 5 minutes to take that look.
It's more reliable than learning by heart and estimating.

80 g of saturated fat per day are pretty much, even for the western
average. Saturated fats are identified as the culprits promoting some
deadly diseases. Exactely diseases which are a main killer among
modern "western" people. Namely cholesterol is raised by saturated fats ,
(and i did *not* even count the dietary cholesterol).
Cholesterol *in* the system causes CHD, the main killer.

Eating so much saturated fat is a slow suicide.
In my humble opinion.

And eating so much saturated fat is *far* from beeing paleolithic.

1. wild game animals are so low in fat (similar to chicken breast)
that a paleo anchestor will hardly ever have experienced such amounts of
animal fat - out of the arctis.
You will have "rabbit starving" without the grains converted to
cattle-fat. Or remain scavenging brains and marrow.

2. the human body seems to have evolved in a african savannah
 w/o much animal fats.
Even if you assume northern influence: acrtic fats are different.

3. naturally grown wild game animals have -even in temperate regions-
a different composition of fats w-3 to w-6.

"Total fat intake, especially of serum-cholesterol-raising saturated and
trans fatty acids, must have been greatly
below current American and European levels; cholesterol intake would have
been minimal."

Well, i may reach up to 50 or 80g of olive oil per day, 750kcal.
Plus nuts and sesame. This is high,I'm known as the fat devourer. But 220g?

It's fine and good if Philipp avoids frankenfats. And vegans not knowing
about them are in danger as are SAD people.
That doesn't lower the dangerous effect of saturated fats.

real paleolithic greetings
