Chondroitin does indeed suport your body's ability to repair
cartilege.  It
does not affect blood sugar.

As far as people not being able to tell you exactly what would be a
good
treatment - this is because different people respond differently to
the same
treatment.  This is not unlike some people finding a pharmacetical
drug
helpful, while others with the same condition get less or no help from
it.
