Read Marjorie Shostak: "Nisa, the life and words of a !Kung woman"
Earthscan Publications Ltd London ISBN 1-85383-060-7

I think its hard to determine effects on menopause as individuals
differ very much. Nisa was apparently not at her very best around
her menopause, but was quite soon back at her normal mood.
The book is very intresting reading anyway.
