What has happened here? Many of the recent posts to the list have been
basically off-topic. This is not a religion list, it is the

remember? Spirituality can be interesting to discuss but there are
other lists for this. PaleoPets - sort of. There are other lists such
as BARF that would be more appropriate. I did note the references to
raw meat for dogs. Nobody seemed to think that raw meat was proper for
humans. Why not? I personally have been eating raw animal foods since
1996 and have survived quite well. (I did sample some cooked meat out
of curiosity at a party in 1997). I have not been eaten up by
parasites or bacteria. Just a thought. Don Wiss offered to set up a
PaleoPets list for this but nobody was willing to run it so it got
dropped. If someone is interested you might try contacting Don
privately (off the list), it might still be a possibility.

This list should be more focused not just a chat list. We should be
giving and getting good information on living healthfully in our
modern world using paleolithic methods.

People are still quoting whole messages when they reply. Anyone doing
this will be set to review status. This means that I will have to
approve their posts before it goes to the list. Anyone posting with a
subject of Re: Paleofood Digest... will be set to no digest. If you
want to reply to such a message then figure out what the original
subject line was. We have searchable archives but they become less
useful if the subject is not clearly stated. Re: various posts does
not work either.

If someone says that "I can e-mail you ...", please send your requests
privately not to the list. If you simply want to say that you agree
with someone's post please send it privately. Only if you want to add
to what they said (and it is on-topic for this list) should you post
it to the list.

We can stand a little bit of off-topic posts but be reasonable/

Here you can join or leave, look at posts that you have deleted or
create new messages to the list (if you are a subscriber). If you wish
to comment, I am at

It ends up at the same place. Reserve the list for paleo posts not
administrative matters. Most of this message is really a plea to not
generate more work for me. We have this list for free. The only
request is to be good guests and show good manners.

Enjoy,
