> Can rhubarb be eaten raw?

You can make a delicious cold sweet soup with raw rhubarb
----------

Hi, Esben. I thought we were not supposed to eat raw spinach or rhubarb due
to the oxalic (sp?) acid they contain. Doesn't it leach calcium out of our
bones or something?

I gave up rhubarb, which I love, years ago after reading about the oxalic
acid problem.

Kath (Spring is coming and I'd love some rhubarb)
