amazons tribes are not pure hunter gatherers there diet is based on
domesticated starchy roots and bananas ,they use abondantly fermented drinks
made out it , the wild meat and fish  is added to that . not that different
than the typical north american with its bread beef potatoes and beer .

there is a possibility  that the amazons was once a very tame place by
anciant civilisations the  modern tribes being the remnant of those empires
who came back to hunting after the collapse .
