Hello all, this is my first post on this list although I've ben a member
for about a year, I don't always read it. But, being from Dallas and
having the opportunity to hang out with Ray Audette I have a lot of
insight and I have asked this same question about potatoes.

It's true that raw potatoes are highly toxic, why, well inorder to grow
them w/o parasites, you need tons of insecticides which have been around
for a while. Potatoes are the most chemically treated food beating out
other foods by as HUGH margin. Just b/c Russians ate them, doesn't make it
ok.

Beyond that, the green potatoes are toxic by themselves, and the dark dots
on potatoes are poisonous as well.

But, the bottom line is, is that our paleo ancestors DID NOT eat potatoes
or corn or beans or any startchy foods b/c they did not know how to harvest
or prepare them. Were not talking Indians of Mexicans, were talking
ancestors
10,000 years old, since that is how long our digestive genetic history
dates back to.

Remember, high carb content is not the issue, though it always seems to
work out that way, it's only legal if the cavemen ate it. It is really
this simple.

Eat raw meat!!!
