If you're going to sleep outside, have a "cave man" party.  Ask the kids
to come in costume.  Make a few "caves" out of tables and boxes, and have
them go on a "hunt" for put the cut up meat in containers decorated with
pictures of dinosaurs, and then they can cook the meat over the fire.

Not very historically accurate, as there were no people when there were
dinosaurs, but what the hey...
