hi hi hi
My name is Lara, I'm 25 years old, I have not read
Neanderthin. I came to this list by way of the
BeyondVeg website. I have been lurking for some time
and enjoy the posts very much. I have been on Natural
Hygeine Diets, Macrobiotic, Fruitarian, Raw Foods
Vegan, Anti-Candida low sugar and carbo, and I suppose
if you combine certain elements of all of these you
would get an approximation of the Paleo diet. Sorta.
I don't really need to lose weight, but I have always
had poor health, particularly eczema. With years and
years of experimentation, I figured out that the only
times my rashes went away completely were when I was
eating nothing at all, or when I was eating raw vegan
foods. I'm not saying that (organic) meat has ever
been a problem though, it might have just been the
grains, since I was never able to last long on the
meats and vegetables Candida diets, because I am a
sugar addict and hate going through more than a day or
two without fruit. (The cravings aren't as bad though
if I don't eat anything at all). But I think I'm
eating way too much sugar, with all that fruit, and
I'm ready to give Paleo-style eating another try, so
that's why I'm here. Dandelion greens and raw fish
and Buffalo meat! Ok! Dilute! Dilute! Dilute!
