As the only dog that does get it, as I said was introduced by others in my
absence, is nearly 13, on BARF, and has very healthy internal organs, has a
high tolerance, I figure the same goes for her--let her eat cake, as it
were... but only in very small amounts and on occasion. I, otoh, don't
get any (and neither do the two younger ones, who've not even tried it,
although they'd love to!).

But on a related subject, have you noticed how many people will get on a
very high horse about an M&M but will regularly give their dogs things like
raw hide? It's like "people food"--I made a sort of doggie "cake" for one
of my girls and took in to their day care last year--it was all wholesome,
organic, veggie based stuff... and the number of folks who "don't feed
[their] dogs *that* kind of stuff, [they] only feed real *dog* food
(kibble)"... same folks will justify a diet of a minimum of 40% *grain*
with the logic that dog's are designed (love that word :) to eat roughly
the same thing as humans!

I just don't get it...

But then, they probably don't get me, either! Oh well, end of rant :)
Guess that comes from just looking through (and throwing away) yet another
catalog of "healthy" stuff that is made from things you couldn't otherwise
pay someone to haul away!
