I believe Quebec's most southern point is around 45 degrees. Ontario, on the other hand, reaches down as far south as Detroit (actually slightly more south than that even (ie Point Pelee, see below). Windsor, Ontario is across the river from Detroit.

      The Province of Ontario reaches further south than any other. It lies just west of Quebec.
