On the islands almost everybody has chickens. When wondering around the
market in Castries I found several vendors selling both chicken and rabbit
feeds. Apparently many also raise rabbits, just they don't wake you up in
the middle of the night.

Why not chickens? I suspect they aren't pushing them as they know people
that raise chickens also eat the eggs. And of course the UN people can't
recommend egg consumption.
