I too am lactose intolerant so I have no choice but to stay away from any form of dairy; but do take calcium supplements.

If for some reason (I need to have some blood work done, or decided to do a liver detox) I have to stop taking the calcium supplements that's when I start to have dairy cravings. In the past I have given in but the cravings only get worse, the cravings don't go away till I start taking the calcium supplements again, then within a couple of days the cravings disappear.

Hope this helps.

Maddalena
