I honestly wish I knew. I have been checking up on milk and
nutrasweet, and both of them lead back to Monsanto. Oil companies seem to
be the root of the Conspiracy. While I am going to sound like a complete
nutter for saying this, The "Book of the Subgenious" has a small humorious
section where they really do give information on the Conpiracy. Look for
the words "YOUR REFRIGERATOR RAPED BY IMITATION FOODS" and read on from
there. The Conspiracy wants us to eat "healthy" rancid polyunstaturated
fats, puts grains on the bottom of the food pyramid, says that meat is a
deadly toxin and doesn't want us to smoke. (I think the Conspiricy is
using tobacco smoke as a "smokescreen" for asbestos and butane, among
other -industrial- carginogens).
This would be totally off-topic if it wasn't for the fact that the
Conspiracy is what is keeping low-carb (e.i. effective) diets, and
especially NeanderThin, in the world of "quackery." Anyone who has used a
high-fat diet to loose wieght while controlling hunger, and who has also
used a low-fat diet to nearly starve themselves to death while pining for
the flavor of meat, knows which one is quackery and which one isn't.
