In The Paleo Diet, Cordain says 5-10% of women in the US suffer from  
PCOS.  If it has nothing to do with diet (or the environment in  
general) that means that 5-10% of women have, for thousands and  
thousands of generations before modern medicine, lived with a leading  
modern cause of infertility.

I'm willing to accept this has happened, but I'll take a lot of  
convincing.
