I have personally experienced the effects of a good cleaning. I found it
more beneficial than a colonic. I got out lots of stuff, including, I
believe, tape-worm fragments. It consisted of nothing more than psyllium
and herbs.

I don't think there's anything unpaleo about intestinal cleaning, I've
read pelicans give themselves colonics.
