I'm not concerned about losing weight, but my Tanita scale pegs my body fat %
at 23 no matter what I do. I do have a history before 1996 of gaining and
losing huge amounts of weight so I probably statrted with a very high body fat %.
Don't forget that people who have been fat and lost the weight are frequently
left with heavier bones, muscles, joints, connective tissue, etc. from carry
around the extra weight so sometimes someone who has lost a lot of weight will
carry more weight than someone who has always been slim.

My Tanita was showing me at 28% BF when I was calipered at 21%.
