I saw it, the plan reminds me of CAD and Atkins, lots of meat, non-starchy
vegetables, and some dairy products. They used the word sugar a lot, too
much, in my opinion saying that only carbs turn into sugar, or something
like that. They didn't mention eating green vegetables or much else besides
the fact that it allowed steak and eggs and copious amounts of fat. Of
course they (Dateline) had a nutritionist(?) who said the thing was totally
wrong, you can't just leave out a food group, etc.... She also talked about
loosing lots of weight really fast and how that may not be good in the long
run. I think the major problem with thse short pieces is they don't get
into specifics, they did not talk about why it works or what carbs do in
our bodies and why some people are better off stating away from them. Of
course this is Dateline after all....
