That's an interesting anecdote. Seems that *IF* Celiac Disease is the cause
of one's hypothyroidism (and there are many other causes), they may be able
to reverse it by going GF early in the game. I suppose replacement hormone
is pretty much the only game in town if eating GF doesn't make a difference
or can't overcome the damage.

I hope your friend is feeling much better now!
