Haven't pesticides, weed killers, and fertilizers been used for a long time on
farms? If a toxic environment plays a role in a person developing Parkinsons
Disease then I would suspect all the "stuff" that one could be exposed to on a
farm would not be good. During my teens (the '70's), my family lived on the
north shore of Oahu in a sugar plantation town with a sugar mill. Both my
parents now have Parkinson's and apparently the number of Parkinson patients in
this town is quite high.
