Magnesium taurate is supposed to be especially good for the heart. There
is also something called Jigsaw magnesium that NYC complementary/alternative
physician Ronald Hoffman mentions on his radio show. He does not sell this
product -- he is simply a big believer in magnesium and as an athlete, he
uses magnesium for muscle cramp prevention/alleviation. I've been using
Natural Calm but am concerned about the lead content I read about on Consumer
Lab's web site. I may also try a transdermal version if I can find a reputable
source -- that would surely bypass the laxative issues if I'm using it for
muscle soreness etc.
