Susan,
I know how you feel. My DH, however, refuses to even
try the paleoway. On the other hand, since I do most
of the cooking, he has to eat what I make and I make
mostly paleo meals. I do, on occasion, make non-paleo
food for him (rice, potatoes, noodles, etc..) but
unless he cooks it for himself (only happens when I am
at school or work afternoons), he eats what I make.
Have hope, he tried it once, maybe he will try it
again.
I agree with whoever posted not to push him, though.
I have tried for years to get him to stop smoking, but
he continues (outside only, in rain, sleet, snow, or
shine ever since I quit smoking). Also to cut down on
salt consumption (he goes through salt like it was
water) and he only cut down on that when he went to
give blood and they told him his B/P was too high!
Jane
