The only link that I can speak about is my own.  I used to be a mess of
depression in the cold winter months and often in the not so winter months.
After a couple of months on paleo I felt happier and have not had a single
bout of depression since. (2 years of paleo so far)

My family members have verified that I am much happier and do not get nuts
in the head when I eat a standard paleo regime.  I am sure others on this
list will same the same.

In my case it seems to be something in the grain that messes me up.  No
grain, no depression.  :-)
