in temperate climate ,from end of winter to beginning of summer for some
species ( swallows come late here, but hummingbird are here end of
february). in the tropic may be it is year round depending on species?

fresh grains occur at the end of summer here in canada ( short season before
they dry and become inedible to humans as such).


Eating in season is such a joy , a reminder of the diversity of , and the
fugitive connections with , our food sources . ( what have been selected to
be in store are mostly what have some perennial caracteriscs in it , the
things that can be shiped, stored , processed or packaged, )
