Oh brother!  What a bunch of nutcases!  Yes, it is good
to feed kids mostly nutritious food, but you are going to create an
alienated sociopath if you dont permit the child to have brownies,
chips, etc when he goes to parties or is in the company of other
children.

This is why I say diet fanatics think they are "holistic" when they are
far from it.  They, like allopathic medicine, treat parts....diet nuts
think that by eating some diet, their life will become better.
Indeed it will, if they dont overlook the balance of the whole
system....social interaction and fun are part of that system and if you
ignore them, you will be "sick"...If you dont allow a child to enjoy
and share
foods that other children are eating (not all of the time but some of
the time) you will create a social gulf between the child and others
his age.  That is not healthy.
