i think nuts are problematic for 2 raisons
because they often upset the ratio of omega 3 /omega 6 in favor of omega 6
and because they are to be eaten fresh ( before dried ) or stored in the
shell to the last minute and eaten raw ( preferably rehydrated ). they are
subject to rancidity overwise . commercial nuts are allways dried at high
temperature ( 60 degres celsius ) and their shell washed . those 2 processes
alter the oil ( washing makes the shell porous to the air )

sprouted fresh nuts are very good for us

if there is an overeating of nuts it can shows a deficiency of some fatty
acids coming from animal sources, they are used as a substitute . it was the
case for me before i got more animals fats . with plenty of animal fats (
raw ) my desire for nuts just dropped drastically .
