Same here-- I believe most of them follow the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. The list did
seem to be more of a support group for those with Celiac Disease, among others.

And since I'm a newbie here, might as well give a quick introduction! I'm Stacey, my
husband is John, and we have 4 children ages 10, 4, 3, and 4 months. We've all been
following a paleo diet with some foul-ups for the past 7 months; John and I followed
low-carbohydrate plans for 1 1/2 years prior to that. I'm grateful to find a forum
teeming with intelligent discussion on the logic of a paleo diet, and am glad to see that
other people believe in this enough to share it with their children and family. I
believe most of the objections we face regarding our eating choices are centered on our
children, as if we are treating them as guinea pigs. I also get a lot of questions about
having eaten this way through pregnancy and breastfeeding. People can't seem to
understand that we believe in this wholeheartedly and recognize the differences between
the way we felt and the way our children act then and now. Yet to us, it is so logical,
so simple.

Nice to meet everyone!
Stacey
