That is a good idea. That question reminded me to go outside and check my
rendering. I do it in small batches on low so it won't burn. I like to cut
it up and put it in the food processor first and then it will melt easily
and evenly. Today I collected a bunch of bones and scraps so I am boiling
it as a soup to render the fat.
