This is a great point. We have a 40 year old woman in
our office who is an amateur-competitive bodybuilder.
Her ONLY starchy carbs are oatmeal and rice (which
seem, at least to me, to be closer to what might be
considered "paleo grains" than any other "modern"
grains). She looks great, and maintains a BF% of
around 12%. But, I think the key here is that she
avoids other grains and starches.

As far as rice is concerned, has anyone tried
sprouting rice and eating it? Amadeus?
