There are many differences. The Anchell diet is much more
restrictive, on the whole. While Neanderthin allows a wide
variety of fruits, vegetables, greens, and nuts to be eaten, in
addition to meats and eggs, the Anchell diet has an extremely
short list (ten) of permitted non-meat foods, two or three of
which (potatoes, sweet potatoes, and rice) are arguably non-paleo
by Neanderthin guidelines (although some people apparently do eat
potatoes and sweet potatoes raw without ill effect). The Anchell
diet also does not allow eggs, but does permit butter.

Of course, you *could* do the Anchell diet with just meat, and
you could do Neanderthin the same way, in which case there would
be no difference at all.
