My experience is that meat can be at least three weeks old and still
be good.
This is not an upper limit, I just have eaten up my supply in this
amount of
time or less. I think if your dog will eat it, you can also. Dogs will
usually
eat meat that is very "ripe". This would include worms crawling in it.
I have
not personally tried this.
