Hello Mary,
here the details from cattle marrow.
It's from my german language program-
if I left something ununderstandable - please ask.
100 g cattle marrow
Energie 139.7 kcal Magnesium 15.0 mg
Water 73.9 g Calcium 6.0 mg
Protein 20.1 g Phosphor 140.0 mg
Fat 5.1 g Iron 2.0 mg
Carb 0.0 g Zink 3.4 mg
Polyunsaturated F 0.2 g Vit. A 2.0 ΅g
Cholesterin 31.0 mg Vit. D 0.0 ΅g
Alkohol 0.0 g Vit. E 0.1 mg
Harnsδure 95.0 mg Folsδure 3.8 ΅g
tier. Eiweiss 20.1 g Vit. B1 0.0 mg
Ballaststoffe 0.0 g Vit. B2 0.2 mg
Natrium 35.0 mg Vit. B6 0.3 mg
Kalium 280.0 mg Vit. C 0.0 mg
...
That's it.
The fat *composition* makes it. The polyunsaturated fats contain very
much w-3 fats.
So much, that it is a real *must* (besindes brain or sardines)
for everyone eating fat from farmed animals, raised (or "finished")
on grains (the animal fat adopts the "bad" fat composition of the
cereals).
Good Appetite.
There are many scientists who claim that the brain and marrow fats
played an essential role when our (undoubted) anchestors, the
australopithecus .. started scavenging big animal carcasses.
As i already stated before , I can't beleave that
(despite this seems to be also Loren Cordaines Point).
Because the amounts, necessary for one of our brains are so small,
that a buildup from plant w-3 sources seems more than sufficient.
regards
Amadeus
p.s.
I would like to thank all for the good words and wishes for
my recovery from my accident.
Thank You. I know is helps :-)
