I soak them 8 hours or more and then dehydrate them. I thought I was allergic
to nuts but it turns out I am just sensitive. I get DH on my scalp when I eat
too many pecans and walnuts. Almonds don't seem to bother it. Too much means
more than 8 nuts or so.
I think nuts can be rather harsh on the stomach/intestines unless they're
soaked first.
