Hi,

I have had a sore throat since Sunday evening. It mostly hurts when I
swallow. This morning I went to see a doc. He did a strep test which came
back negative but he said they are only 20% accurate. He prescribed
augmentin but said I can wait until tomorrow to see if there is any
improvement. I asked if they would send the sample they took to the lab to
have it cultured rather than just prescribing antibiotics. He said that's
not cost effective.

Anyway, anything I can do naturally to combat this? I don't want to take
antibiotics again but so far I am not seeing any improvement. I was also
vomiting this morning and had diarrhea. I still feel exhausted and slightly
nauseous.
