I have several pounds of frozen suet from a grass fed cow that is about 15
months old. I will be butchering a deer this weekend, and making jerkey.

Can I still use the suet for rendering in order to make pemmican, or is it
too old?

I know my chickens that are over 12 months old in the freezer taste like
freezer burn. Is beef fat more stable?

Thanks,

Judy Genova, cavegirl
