Sure, I'm game. It's fairly easy, we just pick a server and someone /join's
#paleofood, and it's done.

Sounds good.

Or, simply go to any of the existing large tracts of unspoiled land scattered
across this country (USA) and hang out there for a little while. It occurs to
me that no one would really stay, so there's no reason to buy the land.
(besides, buying land, technically, is not paleo, if you think about it). In
fact it might be nice to see several beautiful areas around the world. What
about having "paleomeets", someone picks a place and a time, those that can,
go. Sort of like the "rainbow people" here in the USA. There is a somewhat
"nomadic tribe" of poeple in the US called "the rainbow people". A small core
group of people wander around the country, but there really isn't a specific
people. When the get to a place, and there is a meeting, they are invariably
joined by tens and sometimes hundreds of locals for a night of ... well, a
night of being hippies basically. I don't suggest that we all become hippies
(only so many times you can dance naked around a bonfire) but that we duplicate
the totally non-defined way they have of doing things, if we are to meet and
get together.

Or there could be such meetings in Europe, as well as the US, or any other
continent that has relatively untouched areas of land on it (all of them).

pemmican and jerkey -- well, jerky is known over here (USA) but I'd never heard
of pemmican before. I just followed the recipies and began to experiment. Now
I make good jerky (still haven't worked out pemmican yet). But yes, I'd
also much rather learn by watching than reading and doing. I also want to
learn how to gather (what plants are edible and which are not) and also to
hunt.
