Why don't you suspect the eating of meat itself? Your experience seems to
point to that. In this light, I'd want to point to a large research reported on
in a Dutch newspaper a while ago. I apologize for not being able to provide
the exact references, but will if I'm able to dig up the article. This research
looked at two large populations, one vegetarian and one meat eating.
One of the things the researchers did was simply counting the amount of
sicknesses occurring in those populations. The results were stunning, in
my opinion. The vegetarians showed some 39 different illnesses, but
in the meateater population a whopping 137 illnesses were counted.
