Not that I am questioning the veracity of fasting
therapies (ok, ok, I really am - please play along for
a few minutes), but isn't it time the fasting
advocates did a "real" study that pitted fasting vs.
conventional therapies vs. a control group? Seems like
lupus (or some other auto-immune disease) would be a
good candidate for such a study since it seems
unlikely the "establishment" approve of a such a study
for something like cancer.

Anecdotal evidence is fine. But, if those of you who
advocate fasting as the be-all cure-all for the masses
want to be taken seriously, you're gonna hafta start
"walking the walk", just like the pharmaceutical
giants.

Rant over.
