hi guys,
i have been having intermittent abdominal pain since friday, the pain is in
my mid/left abdomen, and gets really bad within an hour or so after i eat.
so i gave in and went to the doctor today ( had to pick one out of the phone
book - haven't been to a doctor since i was a child, aside from needing
stitches and giving birth).
so this doctor feels around my belly, and says, you have diverticulitis. he
said to start eating more grains and bran and fiber, then he hands me 2
prescriptions for anitibiotics: Cipro and Flagyl. and i'm going for an abd
sonogram.
does anyone else on a paleo diet also have diverticulitis? do i really have
to eat grains? do i really have to get these prescriptions filled?
any advice appreciated.
JoAnn.
