TOTAL cholesterol levels don't indicate much, including low total
cholesterol. It is possible to go too low on the individual lipids that make
up total cholesterol (HDLs and LDLs), as well as triglycerides. Those are
the figures you should be looking at, along with C-reactive protein, etc.
