Is it definite that "high" mercury levels necessarily cause health problems.
Wouldn't all the Asians who eat fish at every meal all be dead from mercury
poisoning ??? How does one go about tesing for mercury poisoning -- hair
analysis or blood test?? I eat a lot of fish so maybe I should be tested.
My doctor actually suggested it once but when I told him that my primary
source of fish was sardines, he didn't think it would be necessary. Since
then, however, I eat sardines about 5-7 times per week, blueback salmon 1-2
per week, shrimp 1 per week and canned tuna around 1-2 times per week plus
what ever fish looks good when I order out --- YIKES. That's a lot of fish!
