A blog post:

Office Drones Burn Just As Much Energy As Hunter-Gatherers, Says Science
http://gothamist.com/2012/07/27/office_drones_burn_just_as_much_ene.php

The study compared average daily energy expenditures, and found
traditional Hadza foragers were no different than that of Westerners
after controlling for body size. The blog post argues that our health
problem is the food, and you can't blame it on our lack of exercise.

I posted two comments. One a reply. And this addressed to the post:

"we eat too much highly-processed, energy-dense but nutrient-poor foods."

Okay. Let me list these foods:
all grains
potatoes
beans
all sugar (including any fruit or plant reduced to a form of sugar)

Looks like a core version of the paleo diet.
