Hi All,

I got results back from a urinalysis and a stool test. The urinalysis was
checking for leaky gut and it came back negative. The stool test showed the
following:

Beneficial Bacteria:

Lactobacillus species - no growth (should be 2+ or greater)

E. coli - 2+ (should be 2+ or greater)

Bifidobacterium - 2+ ((should be 4+)

Additional Bacteria:

Gamma haemolytic Streptococcus non pathogen - 4+

Alpha haemolytic Streptococcus non pathogen - 2+

Bacillus species non pathogen - 2+

Mycology:

Saccharomyces cerevisiae non pathogen 3+ (should not be there)

Kloeckera species possible pathogen 3+ (should not be there)

The doctor who ran this test feels the two fungi should not be there at all
and that kloeckera in particular will cause food intolerances. I am at a
point where I react to so many foods I am running out of things to eat and I
am considering a water fast. But I am on thyroid medication and water
fasting concerns me a bit.

I am wondering, if there is no leaky gut, how do fungi cause food
intolerances? BTW, I am eating organically raised, grass fed meats, except
for turkey which I sometimes buy at a regular store and oddly that's one
thing I DON'T react to.

The other thing I am considering is going to eating just one meal a day. For
those of you who have done that or are doing so now, how much protein and
fat did you eat in one sitting? I am thinking it would be best to cut out
all carbs, even veggies due to the fungi? And I am guessing it would be best
not to eat any nuts since those can be high in molds?

Incidentally I started getting a toe nail fungus about 3 months ago and
since 2007 have white spots on my lower legs which I have been told is a
fungus.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I have been dealing with health
issues for some time now, but never this bad and this much. It used to be
manageable but now I feel it's not. I have elevated heart rate to the point
that I can't even exercise anymore, I don't sleep well, I am depressed, and
more. The worst part is that I am running out of foods to eat that I don't
react to.

In addition, like I posted the other day, I am bloated every day all day
long. I wonder if it could be from the fungi.

Thanks,

Kristina
