If you are serious about gaining weight, the best way I have found is
the ABCDE program -

You under eat for 2 weeks about 8 times your bodyweight in calories (a
200 lbs person would eat 1600 calories). High protein, fairly low fat
low non starchy carbs.

After two weeks you would switch to a high calorie (at least 3500
calories for someone weighing 200lbs) diet for two weeks where anything
goes so to speak. If you have a problem consuming enough calories - use
fat!!!!!!!!!!!
Ghee, olive oil, flax oil, butter (if O or B type) each tablespoon = 120
calories.

For you info, I have been able to eat 10000 calories for 2 days straight
and around 80000 for 5 days out of the two weeks.

Exercise - on the low calorie phase, you would do fairly light workouts
with more reps (8 to 12) while on the high calorie phase you would work
out very heavy, with 4 to 6 reps.

Btw, after about the first week on the high calorie diet you will become
very strong due to all the hormonal changes!!!!!!! Make sure to get
enough sleep to recuperate from lifting heavy.

Hope this helps.
